Cheese Butter Masala




Here is one another recipe for cheesy vegetable lovers. Cheese Butter Masala, had been just another name in North Indian Vegetable which is desperately loved by all. It is prepared in red gravy, where cheese has to be dumped a lot to make it a taste yummy.

Ingredients

2 tbsp oil or ghee
1 cup grated cheese
4 - 5 onion
4 - 5 chopped tomatoes
4 - 5 chopped garlic
2 - 3 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp garam masala
1 bay leaf(tejpatta)
salt to taste

Method

1. Fry the onion, garlic and make a paste of tomato, onion and garlic in to the mixture.
2. Make a small balls of grated cheese and keep aside.
3. In pan heat oil/ghee, add cumin seeds once it crackes add asafoetida and bay leaf.
4. Add tomato, onion and garlic paste, green chilies, chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala and saute for 2 mins.
4. Add water and saute for 10 mins.
5. Add small cheese balls and butter and mix it well and saute for 2 mins.
6. Searve Hot with naan or roti.
