Kiwi Salad


Kiwi Salad



Kiwi fruit has good level of dietary fiber and papaya has antioxidant properties. The most nutritious kiwi salad is flavoured with sesame seeds and mildly spiced. Spinach, cashews and cherries used in this salad add a different taste along with the fruits. Lime adds a sour tinge to the salad.

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwi fruits
  • ½ ripe papaya
  • 4-5 cherries, cut into halves
  • Black salt and pepper powder for sprinkling
  • 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  • 6-8 broken cashews
  • Few spinach leaves
  • Half a lime

Method

  1. Peel kiwi. Cut into slices and arrange on a plate. Cut papaya into 2 inch long slices. 
  2. Arrange papaya in the gap between two kiwi slices. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the papaya. Sprinkle black salt and pepper powder over the kiwi slices.
  3. Place a small spinach leaf over each kiwi slice and half a cherry over it. Place a cashew over each slice of papaya.
  4. Squeeze half lime over the salad. Your colorful salad is now ready to serve.
